If you or someone in your household is currently experiencing any of the following issues, please call 911 immediately or visit an Emergency Department: 

  • - Severe difficulty breathing (struggling for each breath, can only speak in single words) 

  • - Severe chest pain (constant tightness or crushing sensation) 

  • - Feeling confused or unsure of where you are 

  • - Losing consciousness or severe drowsiness 

  • - Fever in infants younger than 3 months 

  • - If you are not sure if you should go to the Hospital, or would like to speak with someone immediately on the phone about your best options, please call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000

 

On this website you can book an appointment for an assessment at COVID, Cold and Flu Care Clinic @ Pearl Medical Group if you are experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms AND: 

  • - You have been directed by your family doctor or other health care professional; OR 

  • - If you are unable to safely monitor your symptoms at home; OR 

  • - If you are at risk of severe illness, including 

  • - You are immune compromised 

  • - Unvaccinated and over 60 

  • - Unvaccinated First Nations, Inuit, and Metis individuals over 50 

  • - Unvaccinated individuals over 50 with one or more of the following risk factors: unvaccinated individuals over 50 with one or more risk factors  

  • - Risk factors include obesity (BMI ≥30), dialysis or stage 5 kidney disease (eGFR < 15mL/min/1.73 m2), diabetes, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability of any severity, sickle cell disease, receiving active cancer treatment, solid organ or stem cell transplant recipients.  

Our clinicians will provide a thorough assessment of your symptoms and risks and help determine what actions should be taken to help you recover from your symptoms. 

 

If this is for a child under 1 years old, please contact your family doctor or paediatrician. Our clinic cannot properly assess children under 1 years old.

Only individuals who meet the provincial eligibility criteria will be given a COVID-19 test as part of their assessment. Please visit this site for more details. 

 

COVID, Cough, and Flu Care Clinics do not offer testing or documentation related to travel or back-to-work requirements. 

 

There is zero tolerance for all forms of aggression. Incidents may result in removal from the clinic by security and possible prosecution. 

 

 

When should you isolate:  

  • - Are you fully vaccinated? You will need to isolate at home for 5 days or until symptoms improve for 24 hours (48 hour for vomiting/diarrhea), whichever is longer. You are allowed to break isolation for medical appointments.  

  • - Are you single vaccinated or immune compromised? You will need to isolate at home for 10 days or until symptoms improve for 24 hours (48 hours for vomiting/diarrhea), whichever is longer. You are allowed to break isolation for medical appointments. 

  • - These requirements apply to household contacts as well.
